Hi guys!
Welcome back to my blog. I can’t believe it’s been two months—time has flown by! I know I haven’t been as active here lately; I’ve been posting more over on Instagram at chloesxxblog, so feel free to check out what I’ve been up to.
For today’s post, I wanted to talk about fulfilment.
“Achievement of something desired, promised, or predicted.”
Recently, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on my goals and on the direction my life is heading. I go through phases where I sit down with my notebook, alone with my thoughts, just scribbling everything out—and that’s usually when I find the inspiration for a new blog.
So today, I’ve put together 10 things that help me feel fulfilled each day.
1. Visualise your happiness
I love sitting in a quiet room, closing my eyes, and imagining the life I’m working toward. It might sound silly, but I treat it like daydreaming on purpose—picturing the car I want, the job I’m aiming for, the goals I’m determined to reach. Sometimes I even draw little cartoons of my dreams. Visualisation keeps me motivated and hungry for progress.
2. Let go of the past
As Little Mix say, “sometimes it works out, but sometimes it don’t.”
Life teaches you lessons through people and experiences. I’ve bent over backwards for people who later hurt me, lent money, given time, and put my feelings last. My nana always used to say, “God doesn’t pay debts with money,” and she was right—karma has its way.
Forgive those who hurt you—but never forget what the experience taught you.
3. Work on yourself and celebrate your wins
Whether it’s a skincare routine, hitting the gym, or taking care of your diet—investing in yourself is priceless. The gym has genuinely changed my life. When I’m hurting, I put that energy into every rep, every workout. I’m starting to like the person in the mirror again. I celebrate every achievement too—sometimes with a new purchase, sometimes with a little self-care like getting my nails done. Big or small, celebrate it.
4. Prioritise your own happiness
Be intentional with your time and the people you give it to—life’s too short.
Who’s checked on you today? If they haven’t, they might not be worth the energy. People make time for who they care about. Never lose yourself trying to fix someone else.
5. Work in silence
People will talk regardless—whether you post daily or once a year. Social media has changed so much over the last decade, and honestly, I’ve grown to resent how damaging it can be. I used to compare myself to celebrities or feel pressured to buy whatever they promoted. But the truth was, I just needed to be myself.
In boxing, I’ve been judged for choosing the sport as a woman, for taking time off due to injury, for prioritising my health—but I’ve never tried to fit in, and I never will.
An original is always worth more than a copy.
6. Affirmations
I love a good affirmation. I read them before bed—they set me up for a peaceful sleep. What you repeat, you eventually believe. Here are a few of my favourites:
My body is healthy; my mind is brilliant; my soul is calm.
I believe I can do anything.
Everything happening now is for my ultimate good.
I forgive those who hurt me and release them peacefully.
My ability to overcome challenges is limitless; my potential is infinite.
7. Sleep
It sounds obvious, but sleep truly makes everything better.
We often neglect it when we’re stressed or overwhelmed, but a good night’s rest does wonders—for your mind, your body, and even weight loss!
8. Walking & exercise
Walking is so underrated. We do it without thinking, but it has incredible benefits:
better heart and lung health, reduced risk of disease, improved joint strength, better balance—the list goes on. Never underestimate the power of moving your body.
9. Surround yourself with positivity
Your environment and the people in it matter. Surround yourself with friends who support you, celebrate your wins, and show up when you need them most.
10. Maintain a healthy work–life balance
Life gets busy—sometimes home needs more of you, sometimes work does. But finding balance is crucial. Too much work and you can’t switch off. Too much stress and everything suffers. Make time for rest, for calm, and for yourself.
These ten habits help me live my life to the fullest. I reflect on each day and try to find at least one positive—no matter how hard the day was.
I hope this blog gives you a few ideas for bringing more fulfilment into your own life.
Remember: it always gets better. Stop chasing and start attracting.
“The only time you fail is when you fall down and stay down.”
Keep an eye out for my next blog—I promise it won’t be this long next time.
