šŸƒā€ā™€ļøThe Conqueror Challenges - 1 Year On.. šŸ…

Updated: Nov 21, 2025

Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog!

The start of a new year also marks my first full anniversary of taking on the Conqueror Challenges. Although… saying ā€œstart of the yearā€ feels funny when we’re already creeping into March! Honestly, where has the time gone?

I absolutely love the Conqueror Challenges. They’ve had such a positive impact on my life, and I’m so excited to complete every single one.

There are 34 challenges in total, with distances ranging from 20 miles all the way up to over 2,000 miles. Each one takes you on a virtual journey across some of the world’s most iconic locations. Here’s the full list of what’s available at the moment:

  33. Pacific Crest Trail – 2,485 miles

  34. Niagara Falls – 70 miles

  35. Conquer 2022 Challenge – set your own duration and mileage

I also completed the Kruger National Park challenge before it was discontinued—so it might even become a rare one!

As you can see, there’s such an amazing variety of virtual destinations to ā€œtravelā€ through. I’m determined to complete them all, although it’s definitely going to take a while! The finished ones on my list are marked in bold.

Each challenge includes a series of digital postcards you unlock as you progress, and they’re all unique to the route. It’s such a nice way to track where you are on your virtual journey.

One of the best features is the environmental impact: for every 20% you complete, you can choose to plant a tree or remove plastic from the ocean. I find this incredibly motivating—it’s not just about earning the medal, but making a small positive difference too.

I originally joined the Conqueror Challenges during the 2020 pandemic to help myself become more active, but I didn’t expect them to become so addictive! Tracking my miles keeps me focused, and the thought of getting that next medal always pushes me a little further.

The great thing is, you don’t need to be super athletic to take part. Walking counts. Moving at your own pace counts. Sometimes we all just need a little nudge or structure, and these challenges have given me exactly that. You set your own timeframe, so keeping up becomes a great motivator.

If you’re looking for something new to try—or if you’re just a sucker for a shiny medal—I’d absolutely recommend giving the virtual challenges a go.

Another blog coming soon,
