💫Changing it up in 2021💫

Updated: Nov 20, 2025

2020 taught us so much—illness, loss, job uncertainty, and the challenges of living through a global pandemic. With a new year comes a fresh start, and I’m determined to make some positive changes in my life. In this blog, I’m sharing a few ways I plan to improve myself in 2021 and hopefully see real differences in my everyday life.

📚 ✍🏻 Positivity: Less Social Media, More Reading & Writing ✍🏻 📚

I spend a lot of time online, both for work and, of course, to stay connected with loved ones during the pandemic. But in 2021, I want to limit screen time and focus more on family, friends, and my bunny—if COVID allows! Being on furlough has given me some extra time, so I also plan to write more blogs and finally read those books I’ve been meaning to pick up.

🧖‍♀️🛀 Self-Care: Face Masks, Foot Masks & More 🛀🧖‍♀️

I’ve always loved anything self-care related, but recently I’ve really learned the importance of taking time for myself. There’s nothing better than sitting with a face mask, a glass of gin and lemonade, and just letting the day drift by. Bath bombs are essential on my shopping list, and I have candles and wax burners scattered around the house to create a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

👩🏼‍💻✨ My Blog ✨👩🏼‍💻

Being on furlough from March to August last year really impacted my mental health—like it did for so many people. This year, I want to pour my energy into my blog. Writing helps me process my thoughts and feelings, and I truly enjoy sharing my experiences with all of you.

💤🛌 Overcoming Sleep Disturbances with PCOS 🛌💤

Sleeping has always been a challenge for me because of PCOS—case in point, I’m writing this blog at 12 am! I’m learning new techniques to relax, switch off, and get better rest. If anyone has tips or advice for managing sleep with PCOS, my inbox is always open.

🍽️ 🥂 Diet Changes, Meal Plans & Routine 🍽️ 🥂

December 2020 brought a big change: I was diagnosed with PCOS. My doctor recommended a gluten- and dairy-free diet, and although I was hesitant at first, it solved so many problems—from bloating and acid reflux to having more energy and genuinely enjoying my meals without feeling like I’m six months pregnant 15 minutes later! Meal planning and sticking to a routine has helped me lose weight, and I plan to continue it going forward.

🥾🚶‍♀️ Virtual Challenges 🚶‍♀️🥾

I’ve always loved working out, and one of my New Year’s resolutions was to complete 46 miles in 28 days—I finished with a few days to spare! I then started my Mount Everest challenge, and I’m just 4 miles away from my second medal. With my new Series 6 Apple Watch, I can track my progress, focus on my fitness, and make health a priority.

⌚🏃‍♂️ My New Apple Watch 🏃‍♂️⌚

I treated myself to the Apple Watch Series 6 because it’s important to invest in ourselves sometimes. I’d been using the Series 3 for the past 4–5 months and loved it, but the upgrade allows me to measure even more aspects of my workouts and motivate myself to get out and run. Sometimes we put so much time and energy into others that we forget to treat ourselves—and I’m making a conscious effort to change that.

These are just a few of the changes I plan to make in 2021. Here’s to a year of growth, positivity, and self-care!

Thank you so much for reading my blog.

Take care,

Chloe x
