Firstly, I want to say I am sorry again for being so in consistent with my blogs. Life gets in the way a lot of the time and I just do not get a minute to sit down with my laptop and type away.
I doubt many people even take the time to read my blogs but I just love writing them. š
I haven't written many blogs about travel. I think it is because it's all I ever hear about, day in and day out. I would love to write more blogs about travel and destinations, I think this maybe a little series coming along. If you have any tips, tricks or requests please let me know.
I love feedback!
Covid-19 has really made travel hard to love, when I started I really enjoyed how happy everyone was to get away without the stress of the government advice or the tests and the forms needed to be filled in. we're slowly getting there now and I can't wait to jet off myself and forget about it all!
The 3 main countries on my 2022/2023 bucket list are.. Croatia, Sardinia and the Great outback.. that's right Australia!
š¦šŗ Australia š¦šŗ
I have always dreamed of Australia, some of my father's more distant family live out there and I am dying to meet them and visit Australia zoo! As Australia isn't a destination you can do in a week or 2 this trip will take a lot of planning and a lot of saving too! I have been looking at tours of Australia and they look amazing but I definitely think I will have to get my travel agent hat on with this one.. a more tailor made itinerary is needed I think!
If I do Australia it'll be a 3 or 4 week trip, even writing about it makes me so excited.
šš· Croatia šš·
When I first started in travel I thought Croatia would be really popular and it isn't as popular as I once thought! A bit like Greece, the beautiful white buildings and blue waters are a dream. There's so many lovely little restaurants and bars too, it isn't a destination you'd want to just sunbathe. I've liked Croatia for a little while, sight seeing and Island hopping just looks so amazing, youtube is my best friend at the moment for little clips. I will definitely look at doing Croatia as soon as I can, maybe a 4 or 5 night duration. Croatia is a great City break destination too! with over 2,500 hours of sun a year, Croatia is a magnet for sun lovers! I will definitely go out of hot season though.. I will come back like a crisp.
š®š¹ Sardinia - Italy š®š¹
I have an instagram friend who moved to Sardinia a few years ago. (It sounds funny saying "instagram friend" but I met her through the app). Watching her stories makes me super super jealous on a daily basis!! Sardinia isn't a cheap destination (Most of Italy isn't) but I love the idea of snorkelling in the clear waters! Sardinia is also very traditional, the hotel rooms aren't all new and fancy and I like that. There's so much history and little back streets to discover too. Sardinia is home to some of the most amazing wine vineyards which you can visit and try. I can't forget the amazing Italian pizza too!š
When I am on holiday I love to go out to see and do things, there's so much of the world to be explored and discovered. I do like to relax and I think that's why I like so many different destinations. I love the idea of the canary islands to lay on their amazing sandy beaches in the heat, but I also love the thought of visiting New York in December to see the iconic Rockefeller Christmas tree and do some ice skating!
The pandemic has changed a lot of things in our lives, travel being one of the major ones. All of the tests and forms have really put people off travelling. I have lots of customers who have the newest technology and who can do these forms and tests. However there are a lot of older people who are wanting to travel and this has made it so much harder! I have enjoyed helping all of my customers get away and I really love my job but this pandemic has put a serious strain on the travel industry.
Things are slowly starting to pick up now and I have been so busy, I don't get a chance to sit down and think about what i'd like to do because I am always thinking about others.. I have to say finding my own holidays is the hardest! I literally find and book holidays everyday pretty much yet when it comes to my own trips finding and booking them is such hard work! š
I am really starting to get my passion back for travel now and I just can't wait to plan and get my trips booked.
I really should start making my blogs a regular thing, 2022 I will try harder.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, I look forward to writing more in the future!
Take Care and be safe.
Love,
Chloe x
