✈️ 2022/2023 Travel bucket list📍

Updated: Nov 21, 2025

First of all, I want to apologise again for being so inconsistent with my blogs. Life gets in the way, and sometimes I barely get a quiet moment to sit down with my laptop and type. I’m not even sure how many people read these posts—but I genuinely love writing them. 😊

I haven’t shared many travel blogs, which is surprising considering how much of my daily life revolves around travel. It’s all I ever hear about! But I’d really love to write more about destinations and travel experiences, so I feel like a little series is on the horizon. If you have any tips, tricks, or requests, please send them my way. I love feedback!

Covid-19 really took the joy out of travel for a long time. When I first started in the industry, people were so excited to get away without the stress of government advice, tests, and endless forms. Thankfully, things are slowly improving, and I honestly can’t wait to jet off myself and forget all the chaos for a while.

My top three bucket-list destinations for 2022/2023 are… Croatia, Sardinia, and the Australian Outback!

🇦🇺Australia🇦🇺

I’ve always dreamed of visiting Australia. Some of my dad’s extended family live out there, and I’d love nothing more than to finally meet them—and of course visit Australia Zoo!

Because it’s not the kind of destination you can squeeze into one or two weeks, it’s going to take a lot of planning… and saving. I’ve looked at some amazing tours, but I think this will be a “get my travel-agent hat on” kind of trip—a proper tailor-made itinerary.

If (or when!) I go, it’ll definitely be for 3–4 weeks. Even writing about it gets me excited.

🇭🇷Croatia🇭🇷

When I first started in travel, I expected Croatia to be incredibly popular—but it wasn’t as in demand as I imagined! It reminds me a lot of Greece: whitewashed buildings, beautiful blue waters, charming bars and restaurants. It’s not the kind of place you’d just sunbathe; it’s the perfect destination for sightseeing, exploring, and island hopping.

YouTube has become my best friend lately for Croatia inspo. I’d love to go for 4 or 5 nights, and it also makes a great city-break destination. Plus, with over 2,500 hours of sunshine a year, it’s a dream for sun lovers—though I’d definitely avoid peak heat or I’ll come home looking like a crisp.

🇮🇹Sardinia, Italy🇮🇹

I have an Instagram friend who moved to Sardinia a few years ago (funny to say “Instagram friend,” but that’s really how we met!). Watching her stories makes me jealous on a daily basis.

Sardinia isn’t cheap—most of Italy isn’t—but the crystal-clear waters and snorkelling are a huge draw for me. I love that it’s traditional too; not every hotel is shiny and modern, and I think that adds to the charm.

There’s so much history, culture, and little backstreets to explore. Plus, Sardinia has some incredible vineyards you can visit for wine tasting… and of course, there’s the unbeatable Italian pizza. 😍

When I go on holiday, I like to see and do as much as possible. There’s a whole world out there waiting to be explored. I do enjoy relaxing too—that’s why I adore such a variety of destinations. I love the idea of sunbathing on a Canary Island beach, but I’m equally drawn to the thought of visiting New York in December to see the Rockefeller Christmas tree and go ice skating.

The pandemic has changed so much, especially when it comes to travel. All the tests and forms have put a lot of people off. Some of my customers can handle the tech easily, but many older travellers really struggle with it, which breaks my heart. I’ve loved helping them through it, and I truly adore my job, but the strain on the travel industry has been huge.

Things are finally picking back up, and I’ve been so busy that I rarely get a moment to think about my own holidays. Funny enough, I book trips for other people every single day, but when it comes to my own, I procrastinate like mad. 😂

I’m really starting to feel my passion for travel again, and I can’t wait to start planning—and booking—my next adventures.

I really need to make these blogs more regular. 2022… I promise I’ll try harder.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog. I’m excited to write more very soon.

Take Care and be safe.

Love,

Chloe x
